Now, parents can also view live video of the ride while it\u2019s in progress by viewing the feed from the driver\u2019s selfie camera. Uber said that after testing the new feature in several markets, it\u2019s ready to roll out nationwide over the next few weeks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"duet--article--article-body-component\">\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">Drivers who have opted in to accept underage passengers will now also be asked to give parents brief access to the selfie cameras on their phones. If they approve, the parent or guardian who\u2019s linked in the teen\u2019s account will receive a push notification when live video is available. The teen and the driver are both notified if the parent is tuning in.
