his Paton \u201cwas flying\u201d as he took a dominant win in the Historic Senior race at the 2026 Classic TT.<\/p>\n<p>The 23-time Isle of Man TT winner celebrates the 30th anniversary of his debut at the event in 1996 this season, with this year\u2019s Classic TT focusing on his career.<\/p>\n<p>McGuinness already scored a podium earlier in the weekend with a third-place finish in the Historic Junior race.<\/p>\n<p>But from the off in Monday\u2019s three-lap Historic Senior race, McGuinness was in total control on his Paton, posting a 113mph lap from a standing start and securing victory by that feeling\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>McGuinness, whose future at the TT remains uncertain, admits he wished \u201cI was 24, not 50\u201d in parc ferme following his win, while praising the Winfield-prepared Paton 500\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonestly, I love that feeling, getting waved into that enclosure,\u201d he told <em>Manx Radio, <\/em>following his first win since the 2019 Classic TT on the Isle of Man.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe bike was flying, she was bouncing off the limiter in top [gear].<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUp the mountain she was pulling and pulling &#8211; on-the-road adjustments. But beautiful conditions out there.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are a few fans out there. It\u2019s a really lovely, lovely bike to ride.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTalking about singing &#8211; my ears are ringing! It\u2019s the only thing I wear earplugs on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn a Superbike, I don\u2019t. But on this, I tried it and it\u2019s impossible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLovely three laps out on the Mountain Course. I love it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wish I was 24, not 50.
