However, it features different voice actors for most of the central characters.<\/p>\n<p><i>Ahsoka<\/i>, which focuses on Anakin\u2019s titular padawan (played by Rosario Dawson) in the early days of the New Republic, debuted in 2023, <i>NME<\/i> saying in a three-star review that it \u201chas more than enough of its own charm and electricity to be something greater than filler\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in 2024 Christensen admitted he thought that had no shot of landing the role of Anakin when he heard that creator George Lucas was talking to Leonardo DiCaprio about potentially taking the part.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had heard that they\u2019d met with Leonardo and a bunch of other actors,\u201d he recalled to <i>Empire<\/i>. \u201cThat just confirmed my thought that the role would go to another actor.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-2\" class=\"lazy-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThrough the entire auditioning process I had told myself, from day one, that I wasn\u2019t going to get the part. It just wasn\u2019t a possibility. And I think that probably helped me a lot, because it just freed me up in a lot of ways. td-fix-index\">\n<p>Hayden Christensen has expressed a desire to make more live-action <i>Star Wars<\/i> with fellow prequel stars Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor, possibly set during the Clone Wars.<\/p>\n<p>The three actors played the central trio of Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala and Obi-Wan Kenobi in the prequel films, with Christensen and McGregor since returning to the franchise in TV show <i>Obi-Wan Kenobi<\/i>, as well as series <i>Ahsoka<\/i> for the former.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Christensen will once again be back in the upcoming second season of <i>Ahsoka<\/i>, and was asked what he can tease during an interview on the <i>Hey Jonas<\/i> podcast.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I\u2019ve had a lot of fun with is getting to play the character during the Clone Wars timeline, which they did in the animated world,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd that\u2019s a lot of fun just because it\u2019s a different side of the character.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" However, it features different voice actors for most of the central characters.<\/p>\n<p><i>Ahsoka<\/i>, which focuses on Anakin\u2019s titular padawan (played by Rosario Dawson) in the early days of the New Republic, debuted in 2023, <i>NME<\/i> saying in a three-star review that it \u201chas more than enough of its own charm and electricity to be something greater than filler\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in 2024 Christensen admitted he thought that had no shot of landing the role of Anakin when he heard that creator George Lucas was talking to Leonardo DiCaprio about potentially taking the part.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had heard that they\u2019d met with Leonardo and a bunch of other actors,\u201d he recalled to <i>Empire<\/i>. \u201cThat just confirmed my thought that the role would go to another actor.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-2\" class=\"lazy-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThrough the entire auditioning process I had told myself, from day one, that I wasn\u2019t going to get the part. It just wasn\u2019t a possibility. And I think that probably helped me a lot, because it just freed me up in a lot of ways.
