\n\tIn a preview of the attraction that is debuting at the theme park this week, Charles Gray, senior show director, entertainment creative development for the Florida park, tells Billboard<\/em> that Ozzy\u2019s son Jack Osbourne and widow\/manager Sharon Osbourne were intimately involved in the planning and execution of the attraction that will make its debut during the park\u2019s annual Halloween Horror Nights.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cJack and Sharon were with us every step of the way,\u201d says Gray. \u201cThey embraced our story and creative and inspected and approved\u00a0all elements from scenic design to mask sculpts.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tGray adds that the goal was to create an original story within an \u201cOzzy-inspired world\u201d that would provide a fan-first experience that even the Halloween-loving Blizzard of Ozz himself would enjoy walking through. \u201cIt was important for us to create something we think he would enjoy and to pay homage to his music and legacy,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe creative team at the park did that by using Ozzy\u2019s album covers as the jumping-off point, then following the evolution of the rock icon\u2019s music and persona, with songs from his different solo eras propelling guests through the story. Among the iconic needle drops are his 1983 solo hit \u201cBark at the Moon,\u201d as well as a mash-up of \u201cCrazy Train\u201d (which finally cracked the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 39 following the singer\u2019s death in 2025) and \u201cMr. Tinkertrain\u201d in a train-station set paying homage to a young Ozzy\u2019s life growing up in Birmingham, England, and riding the train to and from London.<\/p>\n
\n\tAsked to rate the attraction from mild jump scare to 10+ terrifying, Gray teases that \u201cthere is so much to take in both with the audio and visually that the scares appear right on top of you. The distraction scares are on point!\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tThe experience marking Halloween Horror Nights\u2019 35th anniversary will cover 45 years of Osbourne\u2019s career, opening Friday (Aug. 28) and running through Nov. 1 at the Orlando resort; Universal Studios Hollywood will present a different iteration of the haunted house on the West Coast from Sept. 3-Nov. 1.<\/p>\n
\n\tOsbourne\u00a0died July 22, 2025,\u00a0at age 76, just weeks after Black Sabbath\u2019s final concert on July 5 in his hometown of Birmingham. The attraction will feature music from throughout Osbourne\u2019s solo career, including the solo albums:\u00a0The Blizzard of Ozz<\/em>\u00a0(1980),\u00a0Diary of a Madman<\/em>\u00a0(1981),\u00a0Bark at the Moon<\/em>\u00a0(1983),\u00a0No More Tears<\/em>\u00a0(1991),\u00a0Scream<\/em>\u00a0(2010) and\u00a0Ordinary Man<\/em>\u00a0(2020).\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n\tIn July, Sharon Osbourne told Entertainment Weekly<\/em> that the famously mischievous, horror-loving Ozzy would have \u201cabsolutely\u201d loved the attraction. \u201cI\u2019m sure he\u2019s looking down smiling,\u201d she said, adding that he\u2019d be \u201claughing his head off\u201d given how much he loved horror movies and Halloween. \u201cHe used to joke that every day was Halloween in our house, so this couldn\u2019t be more fitting.\u201d<\/p>\n
