\n\tThe night opened with \u201cTimes Like These\u201d before running through \u201cAll My Life,\u201d \u201cThe Pretender,\u201d \u201cWalk,\u201d \u201cMy Hero,\u201d \u201cLearn to Fly,\u201d \u201cThe Sky Is a Neighborhood\u201d and \u201cRun.\u201d The rarities came in a cluster: \u201cI Should Have Known,\u201d from 2011\u2019s Wasting Light<\/em>, got its first performance since 2012; \u201cRazor,\u201d from 2005\u2019s In Your Honor<\/em>, returned for the first time since 2006; and \u201cHome,\u201d from 2007\u2019s Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace<\/em>, got its first live outing since 2007. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe band also revived \u201cA320,\u201d a deep cut from the 1998 Godzilla<\/em> soundtrack that originally featured string arrangements, making it a natural fit for the orchestral setting. Frontman Dave Grohl dedicated \u201cAurora\u201d to late drummer Taylor Hawkins before the band closed the night with \u201cBest of You,\u201d \u201cHome\u201d and, finally, \u201cEverlong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe concert was part of \u201cCelebrating Gustavo at the Bowl,\u201d a four-night tribute marking Dudamel\u2019s 17th and final season as the LA Philharmonic\u2019s music and artistic director. Dudamel will take over as music director of the New York Philharmonic beginning with its 2026-27 season. <\/p>\n

\n\tFrontman Dave Grohl had previously performed with Dudamel and the orchestra at Coachella 2025, joining for orchestral versions of \u201cThe Sky Is a Neighborhood\u201d and \u201cEverlong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Hollywood Bowl date came in the middle of a busy stretch for Foo Fighters, who played Rock in Rio in Brazil and filled in for the Pretty Reckless on a one-off support slot for AC\/DC in St. Louis before the Dudamel show. The band\u2019s own Take Cover Tour, a stadium run marking Foo Fighters\u2019 fourth decade together, resumes in mid-September with dates across North America.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
