Earlier this year, producer\u00a0James Ford spoke to <em>NME<\/em> about the creation of War Child\u2019s star-studded album, and said Calvi \u201cwanted multiple voices\u201d to feature on it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were all pushing the spirit of collaboration,\u201d he told us. \u201cIt was just a case of seeing who else wanted to come down and do some wailing. So to have that element of growth and not feeling like you\u2019re resting on your laurels is really exciting. I feel like we\u2019re pushing ourselves and there\u2019s still stuff to reach when we play these songs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this summer, the Wolf Alice played a huge homecoming concert at London\u2019s Finsbury Park, which\u00a0<i>NME\u00a0<\/i>was at and awarded five stars.\u00a0\u201cAs they\u00a0properly finish\u00a0things off with the blistering \u2018Giant Peach\u2019,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0hard not to feel thankful that Wolf Alice followed their own advice,\u201d the review read. \u201cThey\u2019ve been brilliant since the beginning, but over the years, have developed into one of the very best around.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wolf Alice\u00a0are\u00a0now set\u00a0to support Olivia Rodrigo on the opening North American leg of her huge \u2018Unraveled exciting\u201d<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The North London four-piece played on the Welsh festival\u2019s Mountain Stage yesterday (August 23), and they were joined by Calvi and Ellis to perform a rendition of their recent collaborative single for the \u2018Help(2)\u2019 charity record, \u2018Sunday Light\u2019.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The band\u2019s Ellie Rowsell appeared on the track alongside Ellis, Calvi and Nil\u00fcfer Yanya. Earlier this year, producer\u00a0James Ford spoke to <em>NME<\/em> about the creation of War Child\u2019s star-studded album, and said Calvi \u201cwanted multiple voices\u201d to feature on it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were all pushing the spirit of collaboration,\u201d he told us. \u201cIt was just a case of seeing who else wanted to come down and do some wailing. So to have that element of growth and not feeling like you\u2019re resting on your laurels is really exciting.
