href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/carlos-alcaraz\">Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> is finally ready to return to tennis at the US Open.<\/p>\n<p>In a social media post in collaboration with football journalist Fabrizo Romano, Alcaraz confirmed that he would be making his return at Flushing Meadows.<\/p>\n<p>It puts an end Alcaraz\u2019s hiatus, which including missing several Masters tournaments, as well as Roland Garros and Wimbledon back-to-back.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s fitting that Alcaraz should return at the US Open, as he has created some of his most enduring memories at the New York Grand Slam.<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz has played the tournament five times, winning the tournament twice, in 2022 and 2025.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Alcaraz has the best winning percentage at the US Open in the Open href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/pete-sampras\">Pete Sampras<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/roger-federer\">Roger Federer<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/novak-djokovic\">Novak Djokovic<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/jimmy-connors\">Jimmy Connors<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is, of course, worth noting that those players have played the tournament far more than Alcaraz, so the Spaniard will need to continue to be dominant at the tournament to continue to sit above those greats.<\/p>\n<p>As well as his two Grand Slam victories at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/us-open\">US Open<\/a>, Alcaraz has reached the semi final and the quarter finals of the New York
