doubles tournament.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament, which was revamped into a star-studded blockbuster in 2025, will see teams such as Felix Auger-Aliassime and Alex Eala and Novak Djokovic and Aryna Sabalenka.<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz has been widely rumoured for much of the summer to be playing alongside Williams, but reports have intensified since the star confirmed he would be playing the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Several reputable tennis journalists, including Ben Rothenberg and Jon Wertheim, have suggested that Alcaraz and Williams will play together at Flushing Meadows.<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz has not played much doubles in his career, with just a 9-6 win-loss record since making his ATP Tour debut in 2018, and he\u2019s never won a title in the format.<\/p>\n<h2>More Carlos Alcaraz Spaniard has represented Team Europe in the team competition in the past two seasons.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/carlos-alcaraz\">Alcaraz<\/a> paired with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/jakub-mensik\">Jakub Mensik<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/casper-ruud\">Casper Ruud<\/a> at the 2025 event in winning efforts. In 2024, Alcaraz and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/alexander-zverev\">Alexander Zverev<\/a> lost to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/Taylor-Fritz\">Taylor Fritz<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/ben-shelton\">Ben Shelton<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Spaniard has also played doubles on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/Davis-Cup\">Davis Cup<\/a> action for Spain. In 2024, he played alongside Marcel Granollers in ties against the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz has very famously paired with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/rafael-nadal\">Rafael Nadal<\/a> at the Paris Olympics in 2024 for the King of Clay\u2019s final Olympic event.<\/p>\n<p>The Spanish pair won two matches to reach the quarter finals of the competition, but they were eventually defeated by American duo Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, Alcaraz played three <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/ATP-Tour\">ATP Tour<\/a> events in doubles.
