\n\tBut he\u2019s not making too much of a stretch: Combs will voice the role of Rusty Twang, a country superstar. As Twang, Combs also sings a new song, \u201cWatch Out for the Greens.\u201d Big City Greens <\/em>follows a family as they adjust to big city life after moving from their small countryside town.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHaving three little boys at home who love Disney just made this an opportunity that was hard to pass up,\u201d Combs tells Billboard<\/em> via email. \u201cThis will be way cooler in their eyes than anything else I\u2019ve done.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThough voice acting and singing as a character was something Combs said was \u201ccompletely new to me that I had never done before,\u201d he adds that \u201cit helped that the character stayed pretty true to who I am in real life, so that made it feel familiar.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPart of you wants to portray a different voice since you\u2019re a TV show character, but it was helpful knowing this was someone who had never been a part of this world and I could just be myself and use my natural voice,\u201d he continues of lending his unmistakable voice to the character of Rusty. \u201cThankfully, I\u2019ve had a lot of time inside studio booths where I\u2019m singing to practically no one, which felt very similar to this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCombs says he won\u2019t rule out another shot at voice acting in the future \u2014\u00a0but it might depend on three very important reactions: \u201cI\u2019d be up to it for sure. We\u2019ll see what the kids think. They may say I\u2019m no good at it and need to stick to singing!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tCombs\u2019 appearance will be featured in the series\u2019 season five premiere episode, \u201cDaddy Ditty,\u201d which airs Aug. 21. In addition to Combs, other guests slated for season five include author Stephen King, and actors Dylan Sprouse, Chad Michael Murray and Megan Stalter.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe first five episodes of season five of Big City Greens<\/em> all premiere Aug. 21 on Disney Channel at 8 p.m. EDT and the next day on Disney+. More episodes are set to release throughout the remainder of the year and through 2027.<\/p>\n

\n\tMusically, Combs just became the first solo country artist to headline London\u2019s Wembley Stadium, spearheading three shows at the 90,000-capacity venue. His concerts came as country music continues making global strides, especially in areas including the U.K, Australia and Canada.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m so honored to play a role in country music, and what it has grown to today around the world is really awesome,\u201d Combs says. \u201cThere are so many people overseas who love our music, and I\u2019m thankful they\u2019ve embraced mine and let me visit their home countries and play shows for them.\u201d<\/p>\n
