Which is\u00a0great!\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Phoebe Bridgers stuns in rollerblades during a Q&amp;A pic.twitter.com\/jplmwqUoN0<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 phoebe daily (@sourcebridgers) August 14, 2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Bridgers joined around 200 fans on the skating rink at the\u00a0event, and\u00a0explained that she wanted the\u00a0album\u2019s\u00a0release campaign to feel as though it was \u201chappening in real life\u201d.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad1 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"taboola-mid-article-title\">Recommended<\/h5>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>She has not given any\u00a0interviews, but\u00a0has\u00a0played\u00a0a few phone-free pop-up shows\u00a0and listening parties, as well as\u00a0specially designed visual presentations at planetariums around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Although \u2018Lost Weekend\u2019 is Bridgers\u2019 first solo album since \u2018Punisher\u2019, she did reunite with\u00a0Boygenius\u00a0bandmates\u00a0Lucy Dacus\u00a0and\u00a0Julien Baker\u00a0for the trio\u2019s 2023 album \u2018The Record\u2018,\u00a0which was named\u00a0<i>NME<\/i>\u2018s album of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Dacus and Baker both appear on \u2018Lost Weekend\u2019,\u00a0alongside a slew of other big names, including her\u00a0Better Oblivion Community Center\u00a0bandmate\u00a0Conor Oberst, her partner Bo Burnham,\u00a0Jack Antonoff,\u00a0Alex\u00a0G\u00a0and others.<\/p>\n<p>The credits also list a vocalist by the mysterious name of Son-John Johnson,\u00a0which many believe is a pseudonym for Geese\u00a0frontman\u00a0Cameron Winter, whose distinctive voice seems to appear on \u2018Kill Me\u2019 and \u2018I Can\u2019t Wait\u2019.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-2\" class=\"lazy-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Fans have\u00a0also discovered the hidden track \u2018Best Dressed\u2019, featuring former\u00a0Black Country, New Road\u00a0singer Isaac Wood. The track is concealed in the pre-gap before opener \u2018The Outside\u2019 on the CD edition and appears as the final track on the vinyl version.<\/p>\n<p>Speculation is also circulating among the Bridgers fanbase that\u00a0\u2018The Governor\u2019s Waltz\u2019 was written about the artist\u2019s former\u00a0relationship\u00a0with Paul Mescal.<\/p>\n<p>In a glowing five-star review of \u2018Lost Weekend\u2019,\u00a0<i>NME\u00a0<\/i>wrote: \u201cIt\u2019s a feat that could only be achieved by a songwriter and musician self-assured in their penmanship and musicality, someone who may have started the journey of writing her third album feeling lost, but by the\u00a0end\u00a0wasn\u2019t unmoored at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bridgers will begin a run of intimate, phone-free UK shows\u00a0at London\u2019s Union Chapel tomorrow (August 17), followed by dates in Kingston,\u00a0Brighton\u00a0and Bristol.\u00a0\u2018The Lost Tour\u2019 then launches in North America next month, with the UK and European\u00a0leg\u00a0to follow in November and December. spoke at a fan Q&amp;A at\u00a0a\u00a0rollerskating\u00a0listening party for the album at the Moonlight\u00a0Rollerway in Glendale, California last week\u00a0(August 11), where she was asked how she decided that it was the right time to\u00a0make\u00a0her return.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean, I didn\u2019t love all parts of being away,\u201d she replied\u00a0(via\u00a0<i>Variety<\/i>), explaining that while she knew she wanted to step back after \u2018Punisher\u2019, she did not initially\u00a0intend for\u00a0it to be such a long gap between records.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI kept booking studio time and then putting it off\u2026and booking studio time and putting it\u00a0off, and\u00a0putting it off\u2026I really wanted to be\u00a0making something,\u201d she said. \u201cSo\u00a0I just started going in and then taking six months off and then going [back].\u00a0So\u00a0this album took forever. The track is concealed in the pre-gap before opener \u2018The Outside\u2019 on the CD edition and appears as the final track on the vinyl version.<\/p>\n<p>Speculation is also circulating among the Bridgers fanbase that\u00a0\u2018The Governor\u2019s Waltz\u2019 was written about the artist\u2019s former\u00a0relationship\u00a0with Paul Mescal.<\/p>\n<p>In a glowing five-star review of \u2018Lost Weekend\u2019,\u00a0<i>NME\u00a0<\/i>wrote: \u201cIt\u2019s a feat that could only be achieved by a songwriter and musician self-assured in their penmanship and musicality, someone who may have started the journey of writing her third album feeling lost, but by the\u00a0end\u00a0wasn\u2019t unmoored at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bridgers will begin a run of intimate, phone-free UK shows\u00a0at London\u2019s Union Chapel tomorrow (August 17), followed by dates in Kingston,\u00a0Brighton\u00a0and Bristol.\u00a0\u2018The Lost Tour\u2019 then launches in North America next month, with the UK and European\u00a0leg\u00a0to follow in November and December.
