\n\tPortugal. The Man are returning to Australia this October, with Live Nation announcing a three-date East Coast run as part of the band\u2019s ongoing Denali Tour.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe trek opens Oct. 14 at Sydney\u2019s Roundhouse, followed by the Forum in Melbourne on Oct. 17, before wrapping at Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on Oct. 18. The shows follow the release of the group\u2019s tenth studio album, SHISH<\/em>, out last November, and will feature new material alongside catalogue hits including \u201cFeel It Still,\u201d \u201cModern Jesus\u201d and \u201cLive in the Moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Australian dates cap a global touring cycle behind SHISH<\/em> that has already carried the band across North America in late 2025 and through the U.K. and Europe in early 2026. <\/p>\n

\n\tReleased Nov. 7, 2025 via the band\u2019s KNIK imprint through Thirty Tigers, the ten-track album is the follow-up to a busy stretch that included the surprise EP uLu Selects Vol. 2<\/em>. Frontman John Gourley has described the record as an exploration of survival, connection and rural life, drawing on the band\u2019s Alaskan roots; its title track, \u201cDenali,\u201d lends the tour its name.<\/p>\n

\n\tFormed in Wasilla, Alaska and now based in Portland, Oregon, Portugal. The Man spent more than a decade as a cult touring act \u2014 building a reputation for prolific output and restless, genre-blurring psychedelic rock \u2014 before breaking through to the mainstream. That commercial turning point came with 2017\u2019s Woodstock<\/em> and its single \u201cFeel It Still,\u201d an unlikely crossover smash that reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, topped both the Alternative Airplay and Adult Alternative Airplay charts, and won the Grammy for Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance in 2018. The track has since been certified multi-platinum, and Woodstock<\/em> became the band\u2019s highest-charting album, reaching No. 8 on the Billboard 200.<\/p>\n

\n\tRather than chase that success with a sound-alike follow-up, the band spent the years after \u201cFeel It Still\u201d making what it has called its two most stylistically diverse records, culminating in SHISH<\/em>. The group is also known for pairing its music with activism, frequently using its platform to advocate on social and political causes, and the Australian run is billed under the banner \u201cSupport Your Local Crews and Workers.\u201d<\/p>\n
