Why do I have to tell you\u00a0everything?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Madonna was also widely\u00a0rumoured\u00a0for Glastonbury in 2024, but negotiations\u00a0reportedly fell\u00a0apart.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-2\" class=\"lazy-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Early bookies\u2019\u00a0favourites\u00a0for the Pyramid Stage next summer\u00a0included the likes of Sam Fender, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Little Simz. Other rumoured names for topping the bill include Harry Styles, Radiohead, Fontaines D.C., Muse and The Rolling Stones.<\/p>\n<p>More recent speculation has centred on The Stones, with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards both suggesting that the band could return to touring in 2027. They headlined Glastonbury for the only time in 2013.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Robbie Williams\u2019 announcement of two outdoor shows in the week\u00a0immediately\u00a0after the festival\u00a0also prompted\u00a0rumours\u00a0that he could appear at Worthy Farm, potentially in the Sunday Legends Slot.\u00a0Williams had previously said he would \u201cslaughter it\u201d if offered that booking.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere,\u00a0Duran Duran have said they would only play Glastonbury if they were allowed to headline, while\u00a0Brian May has ruled out Queen appearing, as Michael Eavis\u00a0\u201clikes killing badgers\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s instalment of the Worthy Farm festival\u00a0saw\u00a0The 1975,\u00a0Neil Young\u00a0and\u00a0Olivia Rodrigo\u00a0headline the iconic Pyramid Stage. Other performances came from the likes of\u00a0Charli XCX,\u00a0Wolf Alice,\u00a0Rod Stewart,\u00a0Doechii\u00a0and\u00a0Kneecap.<\/p>\n<p>In a four-star review of \u2018Confessions II\u2019,\u00a0<i>NME\u00a0<\/i>wrote: \u201cBy drawing from her past, both personally and musically, Madonna has made her most vital album in over two decades. for the festival, they have not announced any names for next year\u00a0as of yet, but Madonna has been strongly\u00a0rumoured\u00a0to be a\u00a0possible headliner, after the\u00a0release of her new album \u2018Confessions II\u2018.<\/p>\n<p>Eavis appeared on BBC Radio 4\u2019s\u00a0<i>PM\u00a0<\/i>programme\u00a0earlier today (August 14) and she was asked directly whether Madonna would be topping the Glastonbury 2027 bill.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo, it\u2019s definitely not Madonna, I\u2019ll tell you that,\u201d she said.\u00a0\u201cBut we have got three headliners and we\u2019re very excited about it \u2013 it\u2019s all coming together really well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She was also asked whether\u00a0Taylor Swift\u00a0was one of the three headliners, to which Eavis simply laughed and declined Glastonbury debut next year peaked during her appearance on\u00a0<i>The Graham Norton Show\u00a0<\/i>in June, when\u00a0she said she planned to undertake promotional tours before doing \u201csomething bigger\u201d next summer.<\/p>\n<p>When Norton asked whether the larger event would take place in the UK, she replied: \u201cIt could be. Why do I have to tell you\u00a0everything?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Madonna was also widely\u00a0rumoured\u00a0for Glastonbury in 2024, but negotiations\u00a0reportedly fell\u00a0apart.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-2\" class=\"lazy-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Early bookies\u2019\u00a0favourites\u00a0for the Pyramid Stage next summer\u00a0included the likes of Sam Fender, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Little Simz. Other rumoured names for topping the bill include Harry Styles, Radiohead, Fontaines D.C., Muse and The Rolling Stones.<\/p>\n<p>More recent speculation has centred on The Stones, with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards both suggesting that the band could return to touring in 2027. They headlined Glastonbury for the only time in 2013.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Robbie Williams\u2019 announcement of two outdoor shows in the week\u00a0immediately\u00a0after the festival\u00a0also prompted\u00a0rumours\u00a0that he could appear at Worthy Farm, potentially in the Sunday Legends Slot.\u00a0Williams had previously said he would \u201cslaughter it\u201d if offered that booking.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere,\u00a0Duran Duran have said they would only play Glastonbury if they were allowed to headline, while\u00a0Brian May has ruled out Queen appearing, as Michael Eavis\u00a0\u201clikes killing badgers\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s instalment of the Worthy Farm festival\u00a0saw\u00a0The 1975,\u00a0Neil Young\u00a0and\u00a0Olivia Rodrigo\u00a0headline the iconic Pyramid Stage. Other performances came from the likes of\u00a0Charli XCX,\u00a0Wolf Alice,\u00a0Rod Stewart,\u00a0Doechii\u00a0and\u00a0Kneecap.<\/p>\n<p>In a four-star review of \u2018Confessions II\u2019,\u00a0<i>NME\u00a0<\/i>wrote: \u201cBy drawing from her past, both personally and musically, Madonna has made her most vital album in over two decades.
