There were tears, laughter, hugs and renewed hope. Sadly, that moment was short-lived.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His family explained that he began to\u00a0experience difficulty\u00a0breathing, leading doctors to sedate him again so his body \u201ccould stabilize and continue receiving the best possible care\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The statement concluded by saying: \u201cJohn\u2019s journey is far from over.\u00a0There is so much hope that surrounds him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A GoFundMe campaign has raised\u00a0nearly $70,000\u00a0of its $75,000 target to support Paris and his family.
