Watch the video below.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The moment occurred two-thirds of the way through the Sheffield band\u2019s headline set on the Budapest festival\u2019s main stage. The highly conceptual show featured an avatar called Eve, who warned of an impending apocalypse. At one point, Eve asked for a volunteer from the audience to assist the group, explaining that the fate of humanity \u201crests in this human\u2019s hands\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Frontman Oli Sykes then searched for said volunteer, before spotting K\u00f3kai, who was moving towards the front of the crowd. Sykes suggested that K\u00f3kai was the person for the job, given that \u201che\u2019s already halfway here\u201d. It\u2019s unclear if Sykes knew that K\u00f3kai himself is the frontman of a metal band.<\/p>\n<p>K\u00f3kai then took to the stage, delivering an impressive run-through of Bring Me the Horizon\u2019s 2006 deathcore track \u2018Pray For Plagues\u2019, which opened their 2006 debut album \u2018Count Your Blessings\u2019. It\u2019s the first time the band have played the track during their current run of festival shows.<\/p>\n<p>The Southern Oracle drummer Balint Milei shared a video of the moment on his Instagram Stories, which he captioned: \u201cThat\u2019s my band\u2019s singer up there with fucking Bring Me The Horizon. I\u2019m so fucking proud of you, @barberbarnie, bro.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Formed in Szeged, Hungary in 2009 \u2013 originally called Slaughter At The Engagement Party \u2013 The Southern Oracle have released six albums. Having played \u2018Count Your Blessings\u2019 at Manchester\u2019s BEC Arena twice last month \u2013 including their first full performance of the album \u2013 they\u2019ve also been incorporating its tracks into their current tour.<\/p>\n<p>They also released a re-recorded version of the album in June, of which Sykes explained: \u201cWe can\u2019t have this record sounding like what bands sound like today. td-fix-index\">\n<p><em><strong>In partnership with Sziget Festival<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Hungarian singer Barni K\u00f3kai, frontman of Budapest-based deathcore band The Southern Oracle, joined Bring Me The Horizon to perform \u2018Pray For Plagues\u2019 at Sziget Festival last night (August 14). Watch the video below.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The moment occurred two-thirds of the way through the Sheffield band\u2019s headline set on the Budapest festival\u2019s main stage. The highly conceptual show featured an avatar called Eve, who warned of an impending apocalypse. At one point, Eve asked for a volunteer from the audience to assist the group, explaining that the fate of humanity \u201crests in this human\u2019s hands\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Frontman Oli Sykes then searched for said volunteer, before spotting K\u00f3kai, who was moving towards the front of the crowd. Sykes suggested that K\u00f3kai was the person for the job, given that \u201che\u2019s already halfway here\u201d. It\u2019s unclear if Sykes knew that K\u00f3kai himself is the frontman of a metal band.<\/p>\n<p>K\u00f3kai then took to the stage, delivering an impressive run-through of Bring Me the Horizon\u2019s 2006 deathcore track \u2018Pray For Plagues\u2019, which opened their 2006 debut album \u2018Count Your Blessings\u2019. It\u2019s the first time the band have played the track during their current run of festival shows.<\/p>\n<p>The Southern Oracle drummer Balint Milei shared a video of the moment on his Instagram Stories, which he captioned: \u201cThat\u2019s my band\u2019s singer up there with fucking Bring Me The Horizon. I\u2019m so fucking proud of you, @barberbarnie, bro.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Formed in Szeged, Hungary in 2009 \u2013 originally called Slaughter At The Engagement Party \u2013 The Southern Oracle have released six albums. The festival concludes today with sets from Jorja Smith, Zimmer90, Skrillex and Soulwax.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"jwplayer-video-oHDZEc8Z\"><\/div>\n<p>Bring Me The Horizon have been revisiting their deathcore beginnings lately. Having played \u2018Count Your Blessings\u2019 at Manchester\u2019s BEC Arena twice last month \u2013 including their first full performance of the album \u2013 they\u2019ve also been incorporating its tracks into their current tour.<\/p>\n<p>They also released a re-recorded version of the album in June, of which Sykes explained: \u201cWe can\u2019t have this record sounding like what bands sound like today.
