Start --><\/p>\n<p>Main draw action at the 2026 Cincinnati Open got underway on Thursday, and the number of players to withdraw from the event has climbed to 17.<\/p>\n<p>The combined ATP\/WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati is staged at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Cincinnati Open marks the 125th edition of the men\u2019s tournament and the 98th edition of the women\u2019s event.<\/p>\n<p>There were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tennis-news\/cincinnati-open-withdrawal-list-naomi-osaka-absentee-list-15\">15 players who had pulled out of Cincinnati across both the ATP and WTA tournaments by the time play began on Thursday.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A further two ATP players \u2014 Corentin Moutet and Tallon Griekspoor \u2014 have since withdrawn before their opening round matches.<\/p>\n<p>Moutet was due to face Hubert Hurkacz, but his place was taken by Sho Shimabukuro, while Griekspoor was replaced by Alexander Shevchenko before
