Writing on Instagram on Tuesday (August 11), the actor explained that she had received her diagnosis 18 months ago, but had kept it private.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA year and a half ago I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer, which has metastasised to my bones,\u201d Davis said. \u201cSpecifically to my spine, right hip and my ribs. She herself shared in 2024 that she had been diagnosed with an \u201caggressive form\u201d of breast cancer the year prior, but was cancer-free following treatment.<\/p>\n<p>In response to Davis\u2019 update this week, Fischer wrote: \u201cBeautiful post. Love you lots. And yes to working with cancer! Let\u2019s spread that message far and wide! td-fix-index\">\n<p><em>The US Office<\/em> star Jenna Fischer has sent her support to Lucy Davis after she shared her diagnosis of incurable breast cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Davis, 53, portrayed Dawn Tinsley in Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant\u2019s classic UK mockumentary sitcom. Writing on Instagram on Tuesday (August 11), the actor explained that she had received her diagnosis 18 months ago, but had kept it private.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA year and a half ago I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer, which has metastasised to my bones,\u201d Davis said. \u201cSpecifically to my spine, right hip and my ribs. She herself shared in 2024 that she had been diagnosed with an \u201caggressive form\u201d of breast cancer the year prior, but was cancer-free following treatment.<\/p>\n<p>In response to Davis\u2019 update this week, Fischer wrote: \u201cBeautiful post. Love you lots. And yes to working with cancer! Let\u2019s spread that message far and wide!
