Alycia Parks and Caty McNally, much to the delight of a raucous, Filipino-heavy crowd in Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>She was eventually defeated by Belinda Bencic in straight sets, but the star continued the good form she has shown throughout the summer months, which has included a Washington Open title victory and a run to the Wimbledon fourth round.<\/p>\n<p>As well as playing in the singles at the Canadian Open, Eala also paired with Venus Williams once againt to play doubles with the Grand Slam champion.<\/p>\n<p>The pair also played together at Bad Homburg earlier this year, where they reached the quarter finals, but Eala and Williams were defeated by Liudmila Samsonova and Miyu Kato in the first round in Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/alex-eala\">Eala<\/a> took to <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/alex.eala\/\" target=\"_blank\">social media<\/a> to share a message with stories, Eala wrote: \u201cAnother amazing opportunity to share the court with one of the greatest. Thank you, Venus Williams!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eala also took to Instagram to share a collection of photos from her time at the Canadian Open, which proved the star\u2019s popularity even further.<\/p>\n<p>The Filipina star played in front of a sold-out Centre Court three times in a row in Toronto, with fans desperate to watch the star in action.<\/p>\n<p>After her run in Canada, Eala said on Instagram: \u201cDifficult to put into words but very easy to be grateful for you all. Feeling the love in ways that I will probably only fully appreciate later.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you for allowing me to experience beyond what I know,\u201d continued the 21-year-old. \u201cI am quite the lucky one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eala will now head to the Cincinnati Open, where her busy schedule continues.
