Their EP \u2018Spring Forward\u2019 followed earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>Florence Road, who were nominated for BBC Radio 1\u2019s Sound Of 2026, are due to appear at Reading &amp; Leeds and Ireland\u2019s Electric Picnic later this month. They\u2019ll also play a run of headline shows in Ireland at the end of the year. Their other recent live appearances include slots at Latitude, Tramlines, Kendal Calling and Boardmasters. This spring, they embarked on their biggest UK headline tour yet.<\/p>\n<p>The NME 100 alumni spoke to us for their <em>Cover<\/em> feature in May. During the interview, Aron explained that \u2018Spring Forward\u2019 captured \u201clove in a nutshell\u201d. She added: \u201cDifferent types of love. on from their 2026 breakout song \u2018Hanging Out To Dry\u2019, which reached Number One on the Irish Airplay Chart and went viral on TikTok.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>READ MORE: In the eye of the class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201d7563\u2032 is about feeling out of place, lost and confused. Not being sure of who you are,\u201d the group explained in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s about knowing that you need to break yourself out of it, feeling that something is calling at you to wake you up from this \u2018bad dream\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kicking off with a soaring, anthemic intro, the single finds singer and guitarist Lily Aron admitting that \u201c<em>everything\u2019s blue<\/em>\u201d before asking: \u201c<em>When will it end?<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the heavier chorus, she adds: \u201c<em>Dive slow and I\u2019m falling for hours \/ And the seahorse is pulling me downwards \/ And I\u2019m tangled in the fright \/ Dive slow, and I\u2019m trapped in the towers \/ And the ceiling\u2019s beginning to shower \/ So I guess it\u2019s fight or flight<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A frantic and distorted fast-paced bridge follows, including the lines: \u201c<em>Something calling and it\u2019s calling and it\u2019s calling me \/ Calling and it\u2019s calling and it\u2019s 7563 \/ Ringing and it\u2019s ringing, and it\u2019s ringing right in front of me \/ 75 \/ 75 \/ 7563<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad1 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"taboola-mid-article-title\">Recommended<\/h5>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Florence Road have been playing \u20187563\u2019 at their live shows since 2024, and it has since become a fan favourite.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo happy to finally release this song, after two years of playing it live,\u201d they wrote on social media. \u201cWe\u2019ve had the joy of playing it in Australia, across Europe and in America, and now you can finally know what the lyrics are.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis song means the world to us. Their EP \u2018Spring Forward\u2019 followed earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>Florence Road, who were nominated for BBC Radio 1\u2019s Sound Of 2026, are due to appear at Reading &amp; Leeds and Ireland\u2019s Electric Picnic later this month. They\u2019ll also play a run of headline shows in Ireland at the end of the year. Their other recent live appearances include slots at Latitude, Tramlines, Kendal Calling and Boardmasters. This spring, they embarked on their biggest UK headline tour yet.<\/p>\n<p>The NME 100 alumni spoke to us for their <em>Cover<\/em> feature in May. During the interview, Aron explained that \u2018Spring Forward\u2019 captured \u201clove in a nutshell\u201d. She added: \u201cDifferent types of love.
