\n\tUnitedMasters has beefed up its leadership team with four new appointments, the company announced on Monday (Aug. 10).<\/p>\n

Todd L. Perry II <\/strong>has joined the company as vp\/head of artist and label marketing. He was previously at Warner Records, where he served as vp\/head of artist and label marketing. At UnitedMasters, he will oversee the company\u2019s artist and label marketing division, leading efforts to scale and modernize the company\u2019s marketing organization and position it to support indie artists on a global scale.<\/p>\n

    Luca Zanello<\/strong> has been hired as head of brand & sync. He will drive strategic collaborations across advertising, film, TV, gaming and global brands while creating synch and commercial opportunities for indie artists. Zanello boasts more than 20 years of experience, having held leadership roles at The Orchard, Roc Nation and MSM Group.<\/p>\n

    Goldie Harris<\/strong> has been named head of commerce. She will oversee the company\u2019s global commerce strategy, creating new revenue opportunities for artists while expanding partnerships and initiatives that strengthen UnitedMasters\u2019 direct-to-fan initiatives. During her career, Harris has led global commerce and platform strategies in the U.S., Africa and Latin America.<\/p>\n

    \n\tLastly, Jason Peerless<\/strong> has been hired as vp of artist & label operations. He will lead operational strategy across UnitedMasters\u2019 artist and label services. He joins UnitedMasters from Universal Music Group, including 12 years at Def Jam, where he oversaw A&R operations.<\/p>\n

    \n\tThe hires come amid a slew of recent successes for UnitedMasters, including a No. 1 debut on Billboard\u2019s R&B Albums chart for Brent Faiyaz\u2019s latest album ICON<\/em>, which also hit No. 6 on the Billboard 200 \u2014 making it the highest-charting UnitedMasters album yet. Elsewhere, BigXthaPlug\u2019s I Hope You\u2019re Happy<\/em> was certified gold by the RIAA, while his single \u201cHell at Night\u201d featuring Ella Langley was certified platinum and \u201cAll the Way\u201d featuring Bailey Zimmerman was certified two-times platinum. On the Latin front, FloyyMenor\u2019s \u201cGATA ONLY\u201d has been certified four-times platinum.<\/p>\n

    \n\tUnitedMasters has also added several new names to its roster this year, including La Reezy, Grace Carter, Kid Apollo and Elise Elvira.<\/p>\n
