She was so cool\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Charli has also spoken about her love of The Strokes, describing them as a dance band. \u201cIt\u2019s\u00a0like you talk about New York downtown,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0like people were partying then and really in a hardcore way, and so I think he of all people understands how to capture that kind of\u00a0an energy\u00a0in a room and on the songs. It was\u00a0definitely crazy\u00a0pulling that all together,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Both\u00a0The Strokes\u2019 \u2018Reality Awaits\u2018 and Charli\u2019s \u2018Music, Fashion, Film\u2018 were released\u00a0on\u00a0July 24.<\/p>\n<p><i>NME\u00a0<\/i>gave \u2018Music, Fashion, Film\u2019 four stars, noting: \u201c\u2018Music, Fashion, Film\u2019 can feel fragmentary and fleeting, distracted by its imagined, hyper-contemporary audience. But its celebration of art \u2013 and its capacity to let you transcend your bounds for something new \u2013 feels urgent and timeless.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Reality Awaits\u2019 also got four stars. \u201cWhether unleashing disses or getting deep into the weird and wonderful, a quarter of a century on from their debut, The Strokes sound more alive and locked in than they have in years,\u201d the
