This whole thing seems really like yesterday to us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now, Buckingham may have dropped hints of another potential reunion between the two, linking to the upcoming Fleetwood Mac documentary.<\/p>\n<p>In a new interview with<em> E!<\/em>, Buckingham said: \u201cI think the process of making that has been a very circular healing process for all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The musician went on to dodge a question about a possible tour, instead saying the \u201cmost important thing\u201d was the fact he and Nicks had reconciled. \u201cBecause we had left things in 2019, maybe as far as I was concerned, not in a very good place for all the wrong reasons,\u201d he said. \u201cNo one was happy about it, and all of that has been healed and worked out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStevie and I are talking all the time now,\u201d he added. \u201cNext year should be a pretty interesting year, because I think quite a few things will reveal themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad1 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"taboola-mid-article-title\">Recommended<\/h5>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Next year will also mark the 50th anniversary of Fleetwood Mac\u2019s seminal 1977 album \u2018Rumours\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not the first time Buckingham has teased a reunion between him and Nicks. Earlier this year, in a video shared to Instagram, the musician spoke about what he\u2019s looking forward to in 2026, saying: \u201cI think on a more general level, just the energy of what Buckingham Nicks did to sort of create a resurgence of connection between Stevie and myself, I think on a larger scale that seems to be something that\u2019s in the air.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd what that translates to specifically, I wouldn\u2019t want to speculate yet, but I believe with all my heart it will translate to something good and something wonderful and something needed and something extremely appropriate.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-2\" class=\"lazy-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Buckingham and Nicks, then romantic partners, joined\u00a0Fleetwood Mac\u00a0on New Year\u2019s Eve 1974 after they\u2019d performed in a duo called Buckingham Nicks. Both were mainstays in the line-up until 1987, when Buckingham left, before Nicks\u2019 departure in 1990. Frankly, I fired myself. I proactively removed myself from the band and a situation I considered to be toxic to my well-being. I was done. If the band went on without me, so be it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the \u2018Buckingham Nicks\u2019 re-issue and subsequent confirmation that the duo are back on talking terms,\u00a0Mick Fleetwood publicly expressed his eagerness to see the two reunite. Their supposed reconnection now is all the more surprising, given that in 2024,\u00a0Nicks said to\u00a0<em>Rolling Stone<\/em>\u00a0that the last time she had seen Lindsey was at Christine McVie\u2019s celebration of life, and that she could only talk to him \u201cfor about\u00a0three minutes\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI dealt with Lindsey for as long as I could,\u201d she added. \u201cYou could not say that I did not give him more than 300 million chances.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nicks has also continually shot down the idea of the band getting back together, and has said that\u00a0without the late Christine McVie, \u201cthere is no chance of putting Fleetwood Mac back together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, Buckingham\u00a0said in February 2024 that he\u2019d rejoin the band \u201cin a 1973 album \u2018Buckingham Nicks\u2019, making it publicly available for the first time since its original release.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Upon sharing the record,\u00a0Nicks revealed that she and Buckingham are now back on talking terms, saying, \u201cLindsey and I started talking about [the album] last night. This whole thing seems really like yesterday to us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now, Buckingham may have dropped hints of another potential reunion between the two, linking to the upcoming Fleetwood Mac documentary.<\/p>\n<p>In a new interview with<em> E!<\/em>, Buckingham said: \u201cI think the process of making that has been a very circular healing process for all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The musician went on to dodge a question about a possible tour, instead saying the \u201cmost important thing\u201d was the fact he and Nicks had reconciled. \u201cBecause we had left things in 2019, maybe as far as I was concerned, not in a very good place for all the wrong reasons,\u201d he said. \u201cNo one was happy about it, and all of that has been healed and worked out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStevie and I are talking all the time now,\u201d he added. \u201cNext year should be a pretty interesting year, because I think quite a few things will reveal themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad1 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"taboola-mid-article-title\">Recommended<\/h5>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Next year will also mark the 50th anniversary of Fleetwood Mac\u2019s seminal 1977 album \u2018Rumours\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not the first time Buckingham has teased a reunion between him and Nicks. Earlier this year, in a video shared to Instagram, the musician spoke about what he\u2019s looking forward to in 2026, saying: \u201cI think on a more general level, just the energy of what Buckingham Nicks did to sort of create a resurgence of connection between Stevie and myself, I think on a larger scale that seems to be something that\u2019s in the air.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd what that translates to specifically, I wouldn\u2019t want to speculate yet, but I believe with all my heart it will translate to something good and something wonderful and something needed and something extremely appropriate.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-2\" class=\"lazy-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Buckingham and Nicks, then romantic partners, joined\u00a0Fleetwood Mac\u00a0on New Year\u2019s Eve 1974 after they\u2019d performed in a duo called Buckingham Nicks. Both were mainstays in the line-up until 1987, when Buckingham left, before Nicks\u2019 departure in 1990. If the band went on without me, so be it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the \u2018Buckingham Nicks\u2019 re-issue and subsequent confirmation that the duo are back on talking terms,\u00a0Mick Fleetwood publicly expressed his eagerness to see the two reunite.
