Produced between 1981 and 1985, the 49cc Motocompo was designed to fit inside the boot of the Honda City car, embodying practicality, innovation and playful design. This collaboration translates those qualities into a distinctive timepiece that merges Seiko\u2019s mechanical reliability with Honda\u2019s design legacy.<\/p>\n<p>Translating the scooter\u2019s distinctive aesthetic into watch form, the timepiece is built around a 36mm Seiko 5 Sports Field series case. The vibrant yellow dial features bold black lines mirroring the Motocompo\u2019s original colorway, accompanied by the classic Honda logo at 9 o\u2019clock and the word \u201cAUTOMATIC\u201d rendered in Honda\u2019s signature typeface. Furthering the vehicle-inspired motif, the crown is engraved with \u201cTURN,\u201d while the nylon strap pays homage to the scooter\u2019s car-securing \u201ccarrying point\u201d component with an \u201cInsertion Point\u201d engraving.
