\n\tPuebla York was in the building on Friday night (Aug. 7), braving a heavy thunderstorm to see Fuerza Regida close its first-ever U.S. stadium tour at New York\u2019s Citi Field with a guest lineup that brought corridos b\u00e9licos and hip-hop into the same orbit \u2014 connecting the West Coast and East Coast with unusual ease.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe San Bernardino troupe\u2019s finale featured Queens, N.Y., icon 50 Cent alongside G-Unit members Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda, as well as East Flatbush, Brooklyn\u2019s Bobby Shmurda. Fenix Flexin, of L.A.\u2019s Shoreline Mafia, also joined the lineup, performing his viral track \u201cRubberz.\u201d Later, J Balvin joined the band for \u201cLa Canci\u00f3n,\u201d with the Fuerza frontman taking Bad Bunny\u2019s verses near the end of the concert.<\/p>\n

\n\t50 Cent and G-Unit turned the performance into a New York hip-hop moment, running through hits like \u201cWhat Up Gangsta,\u201d \u201cP.I.M.P.\u201d and \u201cI Get Money.\u201d JOP joined them, rocking a bandana-style shirt, making the connection between the group\u2019s corridos and the city\u2019s rap lineage visible onstage. Just a short drive away in neighboring New Jersey, 50 Cent made another Friday night guest appearance during Chris Brown and Usher\u2019s Raymond & Brown Tour stop at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.<\/p>\n

\n\tLater in his Citi Field show, Fuerza returned in a glittering white glove and a jacket that nodded to both Michael Jackson\u2019s stagewear and Juan Gabriel\u2019s matador-style glamour. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe guest appearances carried particular weight for Fuerza. \u201cNew York\u2019s always been the hardest place for us,\u201d JOP told Billboard<\/em> days before the show. \u201cIt\u2019s so global here,\u201d he said, explaining why packing Citi Field represented a new kind of achievement for the band. After closing stadium dates across Texas, Los Angeles and other major U.S. markets, Fuerza had saved one of its biggest nights for the city it once considered the hardest to conquer.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe show had already established its futuristic frame. The opening featured The Matrix\u2019s binary-code visuals \u2014 an early clue to the world of Fuerza\u2019s next era \u2014 before JOP appeared in a Spider-Man-inspired reveal. It was a fitting New York entrance, especially following the July 31 release of\u00a0Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe night remained rooted in the five-member band. Samuel Jaimez\u2019s requinto, Khrystian Ramos\u2019 guitar, Jos\u00e9 \u201cPel\u00f3n\u201d Garc\u00eda\u2019s tuba and trumpet and Mois\u00e9s L\u00f3pez\u2019s tololoche kept the show connected to the live instrumentation that carried Fuerza from clubs to baseball stadiums. The group moved through its deep catalog, including Billboard<\/em>-charting hits like \u201cTQM,\u201d \u201cSabor Fresa,\u201d \u201cBebe Dame,\u201d \u201cHarley Quinn\u201d and \u201cMarlboro Rojo.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter nine stadium dates across the U.S., This Is Our Dream ended with Fuerza looking forward without abandoning its foundation \u2014 and with New York\u2019s Mexican community showing that Puebla York has a place in the future of m\u00fasica mexicana. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe group will continue that conversation at Billboard Latin Music Week 2026, taking place Oct. 19-22 at Faena Forum Miami Beach, where the group is scheduled to headline a Superstar Q&A.<\/p>\n
