And luckily, here at TG we can refer back to the Cool Wall for the definitive verdict. So, here are 10 sub-zero cars that you can now pick up for less than the price of a new Vauxhall Corsa…

First up is this Avantime, which comes complete with its massive doors, the 3.0-litre V6 and what the seller describes as “a few electrical issues”. Remember, the Cool Wall didn’t care about your lack of power or your supremely sluggish gearbox.

And now you can pick up the sweet little Smart for buttons. This one is less than £2,000 and has fewer than 50,000 miles on the clock.

To kick off Series 4, Jeremy raced James and Richard from London to Monte Carlo, with the former in the then-new and achingly pretty Aston Martin DB9. Hammond and May were confined to public transport. Then came the Cool Wall, and the Aston was famously given its own section in a mini fridge beyond even Sub-Zero.

Unbelievably, you can now get all of that style for, um, just over £20,000.
