This chart was introduced a little more than 25 years ago \u2013 on June 30, 2001 \u2013 which means it doesn\u2019t include blockbuster soundtracks of previous eras, including <em>West Side Story, The Sound of Music, Doctor Zhivago, Saturday Night Fever <\/em>and <em>Purple Rain<\/em>.
