class=\"post-summary__body\">\n<p>Artist Precious Okoyomon has unveiled an outdoor installation at New York&#8217;s MoMA PS1<br \/>\nThe artwork features a wild garden, sound installations, and a giant teddy bear sculpture<br \/>\nThe installation, the inaugural Courtyard Commission, will be on view for two years. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>For the next two years, the courtyard at MoMA PS1 will play host to Precious Okoyomon\u2019s playground of pleasures. The New York-based artist, known for their lush gardenscapes and cute-creepy stuffed animal sculptures, has planted a living forest in even in the balmiest of New York heat for \u201cAmong the Flowers I Learned to Love: A Garden of Decreation,\u201d their largest outdoor piece yet.<\/p>\n<p>Taking place on a plush bed of 1,500 perennials and plants, the installation is a sensorial blend of blooms, sculpture, and sound, co-cultivated with Rhode Island nursery issima. giant teddy bear sculpture<br \/>\nThe installation, the inaugural Courtyard Commission, will be on view for two years. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>For the next two years, the courtyard at MoMA PS1 will play host to Precious Okoyomon\u2019s playground of pleasures. The New York-based artist, known for their lush gardenscapes and cute-creepy stuffed animal sculptures, has planted a living forest in even in the balmiest of New York heat for \u201cAmong the Flowers I Learned to Love: A Garden of Decreation,\u201d their largest outdoor piece yet.<\/p>\n<p>Taking place on a plush bed of 1,500 perennials and plants, the installation is a sensorial blend of blooms, sculpture, and sound, co-cultivated with Rhode Island nursery issima. an outdoor installation at New York&#8217;s MoMA PS1<br \/>\nThe artwork features a wild garden, sound installations, and a giant teddy bear sculpture<br \/>\nThe installation, the inaugural Courtyard Commission, will be on view for two years. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>For the next two years, the courtyard at MoMA PS1 will play host to Precious Okoyomon\u2019s playground of pleasures. The New York-based artist, known for their lush gardenscapes and cute-creepy stuffed animal sculptures, has planted a living forest in even in the balmiest of New York heat for \u201cAmong the Flowers I Learned to Love: A Garden of Decreation,\u201d their largest outdoor piece yet.<\/p>\n<p>Taking place on a plush bed of 1,500 perennials and plants, the installation is a sensorial blend of blooms, sculpture, and sound, co-cultivated with Rhode Island nursery issima. Visitors can climb into a teddy bear and listen to Okoyomon reading their poetry as they ride down a blood-red slide before exiting through its mouth. The adorable character is a recurring motif for the artist, often tied to idea(l)s of pleasure, while embodying the space between inner and outer worlds, \u00e0 la Winnicott.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmong the Flowers I Learned to Love: A Garden of Decreation\u201d (2026) is now on view for free in New York, and marks the inaugural piece of the museum\u2019s experimental Courtyard Commissions series.
