\n\tThe Australian punk rock act took a brief moment out of their current tour of Continental Europe to alert fans to their next move. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cA film is coming to you soon about Amyl And The Sniffers doing country covers of our own songs,\u201d reads a post on their socials.<\/p>\n

\n\tLongtime collaborator John Angus Stewart, who has created several music videos for Amyl, including \u201cYou\u2019re a Star,\u201d a collaboration with Fred Again; \u201cJerkin\u2019,\u201d \u201cU Should Not Be Doing That,\u201d and \u201cHertz,\u201d which was nominated for best video at the 2022 ARIA Awards, will helm the country film project. Chris Chang and Jason Baum will produce.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmyl\u2019s most recent album, 2024\u2019s Cartoon Darkness<\/em>, also peaked at No. 2 on the all-genres ARIA Chart, cracked the Billboard 200 (peaking at No. 196) and cleaned up on the awards circuit, including ARIAs for album of the year, best group, and best rock album, and a slew of APRA Music Awards, including the peer-voted APRA\u00a0song of the year on two consecutive years.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlso, Cartoon Darkness<\/em> cut \u201cU Should Not Be Doing That\u201d snagged a nomination at the 68th Grammy Awards, the band\u2019s first, in the category for best rock performance. <\/p>\n

\n\tAmyl And The Sniffers\u2019 tour dates continue this Friday, Aug. 7 with a performance at Hot in the City at Trieste Estate, followed by festival spots in Poland, Croatia, Norway, Portugal, Denmark, Spain, the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. U.S. dates get underway from Oct. 1 in Dallas, TX.<\/p>\n
