Anna Calvi certainly does that on this five-track EP of covers.\u00a0Potential\u00a0cover performers take note: this is how you do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><i>NME\u00a0<\/i>was at his set at Mad Cool this summer, describing it as a \u201cbonanza\u201d, adding:\u00a0\u201cAs he and his backing musicians moved\u00a0in formation\u00a0across the stage, video screens depicted a variety of\u00a0colourful\u00a0environs \u2013 waves, a misty forest \u2013 before the Talking Heads track \u2018Life During Wartime\u2019 was accompanied by images of brutal ICE raids.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He will also be going on an intimate book tour in the UK to support his forthcoming book\u00a0<i>Sleeping Beauties<\/i>.
