He\u2019s been making masterpieces for five years now; his body of work offers timestamps for different eras of rap music in that period, from mumble rap (which he pioneered with 2016\u2019s\u00a0\u2018Luv Is Rage\u2019\u00a0and\u00a0\u2018Lil Uzi Vert Vs The World\u2019), or the commercial rap he pushed out on his debut\u00a0\u2018Luv Is Rage 2\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd here, again, he has made another record that will stay close to the hearts of a generation of rap fans. He is surely our generation\u2019s\u00a0Lil Wayne.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As for Lollapalooza, the festival wrapped on Sunday (August 2), and saw a slew of surprise collaborations throughout, with Sombr bringing out 5 Seconds of Summer for his set,\u00a0Smashing Pumpkins reuniting with Melissa Auf der Maur, Lorde bringing out Charli XCX for \u2018Girl, So Confusing\u2019, and Sam Fender joining xx\u00a0among those at the top of the bill, joined by\u00a0John Summit,\u00a0Jennie\u00a0and\u00a0The Smashing Pumpkins.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span including Geese,\u00a0Wet Leg,\u00a0Ethel Cain,\u00a0Turnstile, CMAT,\u00a0Little Simz,\u00a0Zara Larsson,\u00a0Clipse,\u00a0The Neighbourhood,\u00a0Yungblud,\u00a0Beabadoobee,\u00a0Sombr, Wolf Alice, and Lil Uzi Vert, with the Philadelphia rapper \u2013 who identifies as nonbinary \u2013 due to perform on Friday night (July 31) ahead of Charli XCX.<\/p>\n<p>However, Uzi\u2019s set was ultimately cancelled owing to severe weather issues that saw several other sets either shortened or scrapped throughout the weekend.
