Saudi Arabia. The high-stakes heavyweight contest marked Joshua’s first fight since surviving a tragic car accident in Nigeria last December.

The bout opened with immediate drama as Prenga caught Joshua early, connecting with a right hand and an uppercut that sent the former unified champion to the canvas within the first 20 seconds. After beating the count, Joshua took a knee moments later following another heavy attack, surviving the round under intense pressure from the Albanian power-puncher.

Joshua responded decisively in the second round, establishing his jab and timing Prenga’s aggressive forward momentum with sharp right hands. A heavy barrage midway through the round sent Prenga to the canvas, where he was unable to beat the referee’s count, giving Joshua his 30th professional victory.
