Anna Calvi certainly does that on this five-track EP of covers.\u00a0Potential\u00a0cover performers take note: this is how you do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Byrne\u2019s tour is in support of his latest solo album \u2018Who Is\u00a0The\u00a0Sky?\u2018, which he released last September as his first studio record since 2018\u2019s \u2018American Utopia\u2018. It featured contributions from Hayley Williams,\u00a0St.\u00a0Vincent\u00a0and\u00a0The Smile\u2018s Tom Skinner.<\/p>\n<p><i>NME\u00a0<\/i>was at his set at Mad Cool this summer, describing it as a \u201cbonanza\u201d, adding:\u00a0\u201cAs he and his backing musicians moved\u00a0in formation\u00a0across the stage, video screens depicted a variety of\u00a0colourful\u00a0environs \u2013 waves, a misty forest \u2013 before the Talking Heads track \u2018Life During Wartime\u2019 was accompanied by images of brutal ICE raids.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He will also be going on an intimate book tour in the UK to support his forthcoming book <i>Sleeping Beauties<\/i>. Weather\u2019, the song by\u00a0French-Israeli\u00a0artist Keren Ann that they recorded for Calvi\u2019s covers EP, also titled\u00a0\u2018Strange\u00a0Weather\u2018.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn\u00a0honour\u00a0to share the stage with David Byrne last week at The Piece Hall,\u201d Calvi later wrote on Instagram. \u201cIt was Anna Calvi certainly does that on this five-track EP of covers.\u00a0Potential\u00a0cover performers take note: this is how you do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Byrne\u2019s tour is in support of his latest solo album \u2018Who Is\u00a0The\u00a0Sky?\u2018, which he released last September as his first studio record since 2018\u2019s \u2018American Utopia\u2018. It featured contributions from Hayley Williams,\u00a0St.\u00a0Vincent\u00a0and\u00a0The Smile\u2018s Tom Skinner.<\/p>\n<p><i>NME\u00a0<\/i>was at his set at Mad Cool this summer, describing it as a \u201cbonanza\u201d, adding:\u00a0\u201cAs he and his backing musicians moved\u00a0in formation\u00a0across the stage, video screens depicted a variety of\u00a0colourful\u00a0environs \u2013 waves, a misty forest \u2013 before the Talking Heads track \u2018Life During Wartime\u2019 was accompanied by images of brutal ICE raids.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He will also be going on an intimate book tour in the UK to support his forthcoming book <i>Sleeping Beauties<\/i>.
