It\u2019s primal. There\u2019s something instinctual about drums, and I like drums that hit just as hard as the Doom Marine. When you\u2019re playing the game, the flow is very important. The music supports this flow with a solid groove and the percussion plays a very important role in propelling the on-screen action.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, <em>Final Fantasy 14<\/em> rock band The Primals performed their first non-fan fest gig outside of Japan at Download Festival.<\/p>\n<p>In other news, PlayStation\u00a0has confirmed it\u2019s still going ahead with its plan to cease \u201cworld-first\u201d show that\u2019ll feature the music of <i>Doom<\/i>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMick Gordon is the composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and acclaimed sound designer who turned <i>Doom<\/i>\u2018s soundtrack into one of the most instantly recognisable pieces of gaming music ever produced,\u201d reads a press release. \u201cAt RADAR 2027, Mick will bring the <i>Doom<\/i> soundtrack to the stage for the first time, featuring the Doom Machine (his custom <i>Doom<\/i> instrument), with a full live band and an orchestra for good measure.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote It\u2019s primal. There\u2019s something instinctual about drums, and I like drums that hit just as hard as the Doom Marine. When you\u2019re playing the game, the flow is very important.
