\n\tYe (formerly Kanye West) has reached a settlement with an ex-staff member who accused him of widespread sexual misconduct.<\/p>\n
\n\tAccording to a Tuesday (July 28) filing in Los Angeles court, Ye has agreed to unconditionally settle the entire lawsuit brought against him by former employee Lauren Pisciotta. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed. In response to an inquiry on Wednesday (July 29), Pisciotta\u2019s attorney Arick Fudali<\/strong> only told Billboard<\/em>, \u201cThe matter has been resolved.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\tRelated\t\t<\/p>\n<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n \t\t\t\t\tYe\u2019s Ex-Assistant Adds Rape and Sex-Trafficking Claims to Harassment\u00a0Lawsuit\t\t<\/p>\n<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n \n\tReps for Ye did not immediately return a request for comment on the settlement.<\/p>\n \n\tPisciotta worked for Ye between 2021 and 2023, first in A&R for his chart-topping album Donda <\/em>and then later in the roles of both personal assistant and chief of staff for his various companies, including his Yeezy fashion line. She sued for sexual harassment in 2024, alleging the rapper frequently propositioned her for sex, sent graphic text messages and once masturbated in front of her while locking her in a room during a private jet flight.<\/p>\n \n\tLast year, Pisciotta amended her lawsuit to add even more serious allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking. She claimed that Ye \u201cgroped her on a regular basis,\u201d once attempted to penetrate her with his fingers and another time \u201corally raped her without her consent.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cYe recruited and enticed plaintiff by making fraudulent promises of career advancement in exchange for plaintiff\u2019s acquiescence to Ye\u2019s sexual contact, and used force and coercion to obtain compliance with his sexual demands by engendering a fear that refusing Ye\u2019s desires would be met with serious consequences such as public humiliation, online harassment, termination, retaliation and violence,\u201d read Pisciotta\u2019s reworked lawsuit in July 2025.<\/p>\n \n\tReps for Ye responded by calling the claims \u201coutrageous\u201d and \u201cdemonstrably false.\u201d In a July 2025 statement to Billboard<\/em>, the rapper\u2019s spokesperson said, \u201cThe courts are no place to indulge delusions and mental disturbances.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe stand ready to annihilate Ms. Pisciotta\u2019s tall tales before a jury \u2014 an exoneration so inevitable that even she, lost in her fog of fantasy, must surely see it coming,\u201d added Ye\u2019s spokesperson in the statement last summer.<\/p>\n \n\tYe and his companies have been sued by numerous former employees in the last several years over claims ranging from hostile work environments to unpaid wages. The litigation onslaught coincided with Ye\u2019s reputation and career becoming marred by racist and antisemitic outbursts. He recently apologized for this behavior in a full-page Wall Street Journal<\/em> ad, citing an untreated head injury.<\/p>\n \n\tIn the first of these lawsuits to go to trial this past spring, a former construction manager at Ye\u2019s Malibu mansion won a $140,000 jury verdict for on-the-job injuries. Ye has settled with some former employees, including Pisciotta and teachers at his now-shuttered private school Donda Academy.
