Let\u2019s just do some gigs and be happy, thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His response follows a number of contradicting claims he made on social media about the status of new music. He initially teased that\u00a0a new album was on the way, \u201calready finished\u201d and \u201cin the bag\u201d in September 2024, later adding that he was\u00a0\u201cblown away\u201d by the music his new brother was working on for the record.<\/p>\n<p>However, that November, he\u00a0admitted that he was trolling fans with the comments, confirming that there is \u201cno Oasis album in the making\u201d and adding: \u201cI was fucking joking\u2026 and the reason being because everyone is a little uptight these days. I\u2019m sorry if I have upset anyone but fuck me it was a laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Liam went on to fan flames again in 2025, after the band\u2019s\u00a0manager Alex McKinlay said in an interview that there were definitely \u201cno plan for any new music\u201d. In response, Liam claimed that \u201cthe only people making any kind of decisions on the future of OASIS will be ME n RKID [Noel]\u201d, jokingly dismissing McKinlay as being their Let\u2019s just do some gigs and be happy, thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His response follows a number of contradicting claims he made on social media about the status of new music. He initially teased that\u00a0a new album was on the way, \u201calready finished\u201d and \u201cin the bag\u201d in September 2024, later adding that he was\u00a0\u201cblown away\u201d by the music his new brother was working on for the record.<\/p>\n<p>However, that November, he\u00a0admitted that he was trolling fans with the comments, confirming that there is \u201cno Oasis album in the making\u201d and adding: \u201cI was fucking joking\u2026 and the reason being because everyone is a little uptight these days. I\u2019m sorry if I have upset anyone but fuck me it was a laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Liam went on to fan flames again in 2025, after the band\u2019s\u00a0manager Alex McKinlay said in an interview that there were definitely \u201cno plan for any new music\u201d.
