The so-called impairment charge, which is another way of saying an owned asset has lost some of its value, was announced in <a href=\"https:\/\/investor.hasbro.com\/static-files\/72d34d76-438d-4a35-bdc1-6c243889db0a\">a conference call<\/a> for the company&#8217;s second quarter 2026 financial results.<\/p>\n<p>Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks reiterated that while the company continues to be committed to game development, its priorities are changing moving forward. To that end, existing projects such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/aexodus-mass-effect-morality-system\">Mass Effect-like sci-fi RPG Exodus<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/wizards-of-the-coast-reveals-dungeons-dragons-game-warlock\">the recently announced Warlock: Dungeons and Dragons<\/a> remain in development. Hasbro has not, however, addressed the G.I.
