The zenith of the rivalry so far was reached in 2025, with Alcaraz and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/jannik-sinner\">Sinner<\/a> facing off in the finals at six big events, including at three consecutive Grand Slams.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/aryna-sabalenka\">Sabalenka<\/a> has held the WTA world No 1 ranking since October 2024 and been the best player in women\u2019s tennis over the last two and half years.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_Zv20pBmHM0\" target=\"_blank\">First&amp;Red<\/a> YouTube channel, Sabalenka was asked whether she prefers Sinner or Alcaraz\u2019s tennis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDamn it, why that [question]? We also have an aggressive style of tennis, let\u2019s say,\u201d assessed Sabalenka.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I really like the way Alcaraz moves, the way he sees the court, the way he plays every ball. It\u2019s clear that Carlos truly enjoys the game. There\u2019s not a single ball he won\u2019t try to reach.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlcaraz will always try until the very end. And that, of course, is really cool. And, of course, the fact that he\u2019s open to new things. Even though he was at the top of the rankings, he still changed his serve and adjusted some things.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s great because he\u2019s young and rose to the top quite quickly. It\u2019s nice to watch Carlos improve. I think it\u2019s impossible to pick just one person in this matchup.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen Alcaraz beat Jannik at Roland Garros 2025 after three match points, it was incredible.
