For a moment, it looked like the Miami Heat knew LeBron James\u2019 next destination. Then, they quickly said it was all just an innocent mistake.<\/p>\n

A link for a live stream titled \u201cLeBron James Introductory Press Conference,\u201d scheduled for July 27, was briefly posted on Tuesday to the Heat\u2019s YouTube channel. It was later deleted.<\/p>\n

A team spokesperson told<\/a> multiple news outlets<\/a> Tuesday night that the post was a mistake and was merely an effort to be prepared in case James decides to sign with the Heat for his 24th NBA season. The team\u2019s social media department was preparing the stream in advance and accidentally published the link.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday morning, several hours before the Heat\u2019s mishap, Klutch Sports CEO and James\u2019 longtime agent, Rich Paul, preached patience, telling ESPN\u2019s \u201cThe Pat McAfee Show\u201d<\/a> that no decision has been made.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust have a little patience with him,\u201d Paul said. \u201cObviously, it\u2019s his choice. \u2026 This is a very important choice for him, and you cannot rush it. I think he\u2019s earned the right to not be rushed.\u201d<\/p>\n

This came on the heels of Paul\u2019s comments<\/a> on the latest episode of his podcast, \u201cGame Over\u201d with Max Kellerman, on Monday night: \u201cWe\u2019re not going to be rushed. It\u2019s his choice to make, and when he makes the choice, he\u2019ll make it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
