It\u2019s well known that Steph Curry is a lock for induction Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame once he\u2019s eligible.<\/p>\n

And why not? He\u2019s a four-time NBA champion, two-time NBA MVP (including being the league\u2019s first unanimous) and the greatest 3-point shooter in hoops history.<\/p>\n

Curry\u2019s name resides alongside that of his hopeful future teammate, LeBron James, as this generation\u2019s two strongest locks for enshrinement into basketball immortality.<\/p>\n

Hall of Fame rules state players must be retired for two full seasons before induction. But on Tuesday, the Hall announced it couldn\u2019t wait to honor Curry.<\/p>\n

It unveiled a new limited-time exhibit, \u201cStephen Curry: Beyond the Arc,\u201d as the newest addition to its gallery, \u201cThe Vault.\u201d Curry becomes the NBA\u2019s first active player to receive a dedicated solo exhibit in the Hall. It will open July 24 in partnership with Curry\u2019s Thirty Ink business team.<\/p>\n

\u201cDeveloped as the next iteration of the Hall of Fame\u2019s acclaimed gallery, \u2018The Vault,\u2019 this immersive experience is designed to explore Stephen Curry\u2019s multifaceted legacy as a basketball icon, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and family man,\u201d the Hall wrote in its announcement on X, accompanied by a promotional highlight video.<\/p>\n

He inspired a generation to dream bigger and shoot farther. Now, for the first time in its nearly 75-year history, the Hall of Fame will feature a dedicated experience honoring an active NBA player. <\/p>\n

Rather than a permanent installation, \u201cThe Vault\u201d is a rotating immersive gallery highlighting one featured story at a time. It opened in June 2024 with its inaugural exhibit, \u201cThe Vault: Boston Celtics Unlocked.\u201d That installation celebrated the historic Celtics franchise, connecting legends such as Bill Russell and Larry Bird with current All-Stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.\u00a0 Brown was recently traded to the Philadelphia 76ers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While Tatum and Brown were active players featured as part of the Celtics exhibit, Curry is the first active individual player to receive an exhibit.<\/p>\n

According to an NBA.com<\/a> announcement, \u201cVisitors can expect a captivating, curated journey through Curry\u2019s life,\u201d featuring memorabilia, rare footage, and immersive audio and video storytelling.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing part of the Basketball Hall of Fame in this way is hard to put into words,\u201d Curry said in the NBA release. \u201cWhen I think about my journey, I think about the people who believed in me, the work that happened when nobody was watching and the moments that shaped me on and off the court. To have that story told while I\u2019m still playing is something I don\u2019t take lightly.<\/p>\n
