Katie Holmes plays a New York\u2013based photographer reconnecting with her high school flame in <em>Happy Hours<\/em>, a new film Holmes also wrote and directed. <em>Happy Hours<\/em> premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 6, and, according to <em>TMZ<\/em>, it was at a dinner related to the festival that Holmes met her new boyfriend, New York\u2013based artist Jason Bard Yarmosky.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tYarmosky was one of the 10 artists who participated in the 2026 Tribeca Festival Artist Awards Program, an initiative sponsored by Chanel in which visual artists gift one of their artworks to one of the festival\u2019s winning filmmakers. Others in the 2026 cohort include Brendan Fernandes, Bony Ramirez, Hank Willis Thomas, and Carrie Mae Weems. Yarmosky was paired with best new narrative director Miiku Sakanishi, who received a colored pencil drawing of a nude female figure titled <em>10.16.24 <\/em>(2024).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tHolmes and Yarmosky have since been spotted at a mid-July screening of <em>The Invite<\/em>, a new comedy starring Seth Rogen and Olivia Wilde, in East Hampton.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tYarmosky got his BFA from the School of Visual Arts in 2010 and has several solo and group shows to his name. His most recent show, \u201cTime Has Many Faces,\u201d closed at Guild Hall in East Hampton, New York, in April. It featured stylized portraits\u2014at the same time tender and absurdist\u2014of his late grandparents, who have been the focus of his work for over a decade. \u201cSomewhere,\u201d at the University of Maine\u2019s Zillman Art Museum in 2017, included paintings and drawings of Yarmosky\u2019s grandmother, specifically addressing her struggles with dementia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tHis work has also been included in group shows at the Jewish Museum in Vienna, the Brooklyn Museum, and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Ark. <em>ARTnews<\/em> Top 200 Collector Beth Rudin DeWoody selected Yarmosky\u2019s work for two shows that she curated, one at Eric Firestone Gallery in 2019 and another at Wilding Cran in 2017.
