Start --><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/andy-murray\">Andy Murray<\/a> won three Grand Slams during his distinguished career, yet the tennis great \u201cwould argue\u201d there is one achievement that is harder to accomplish than winning a major.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/andy-murray\">Murray<\/a> ended Great Britain\u2019s long wait for a men\u2019s Grand Slam winner in the Open Era when he defeated Novak Djokovic in the 2012 US Open final, becoming the first British man since Fred Perry in 1936 to win a major.<\/p>\n<p>His title at the US Open came on the back of finishing on the losing side in four finals and, after another runners-up trophy at the 2013 Australian Open, Murray again followed in Perry\u2019s footsteps as he ended the 77-year drought for a home champion at Wimbledon, beating Milos Raonic in the final.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to win a second title at Wimbledon in 2016 and admits it would have been a case of \u201cwhat could have been\u201d if he failed to win at the All England Club.<\/p>\n<h2>Tennis Features<\/h2>\n<p><strong><a career would have been a failure,\u201d he said on the latest ATP Tour\u2019s Aces No 1 Club feature.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe main feeling at the time was just relief.
