It will be the first year back following a fallow year this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Williams has shown up at the iconic festival before, delivering a huge solo set at the 1998 edition, and also making an unforgettable appearance in 1995, where he partied with Oasis.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <em>NME<\/em> about the latter in 2022, the \u2018Angels\u2019 singer said that going to the festival shortly after his departure from Take That made him feel \u201clike Putin turning up in Westminster\u201d due to indie snobbery, and also marked the \u201cstart of his new life\u201d where people \u201ccouldn\u2019t contain me anymore\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In the years since, the singer has made it clear that he wants to perform again at Worthy Farm \u2013 and said in 2023 that he believes he\u2019d \u201cslaughter it\u201d if he were given the chance to play the Legend\u2019s Slot.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-2\" class=\"lazy-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s one of those times and places, and a reimagination of what Robbie Williams is,\u201d he said of a potential performance,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cA lot of people there have an oblique perception of what I am. Williams then sang it with Scherzinger at the 2026 World Cup Final Draw, released a new version featuring both Scherzinger and Pausini, and performed it with both the singers at the World Cup closing ceremony on Sunday (July 19).<\/p>\n<p>Following his appearance at the World Cup final, Williams has responded to claims that a white object falling onto his microphone during a World Cup television set to headline at Lancashire\u2019s Lytham Festival on July 3, before then playing at Thomond Park Stadium in Limerick on July 6.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 It will be the first year back following a fallow year this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Williams has shown up at the iconic festival before, delivering a huge solo set at the 1998 edition, and also making an unforgettable appearance in 1995, where he partied with Oasis.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <em>NME<\/em> about the latter in 2022, the \u2018Angels\u2019 singer said that going to the festival shortly after his departure from Take That made him feel \u201clike Putin turning up in Westminster\u201d due to indie snobbery, and also marked the \u201cstart of his new life\u201d where people \u201ccouldn\u2019t contain me anymore\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In the years since, the singer has made it clear that he wants to perform again at Worthy Farm \u2013 and said in 2023 that he believes he\u2019d \u201cslaughter it\u201d if he were given the chance to play the Legend\u2019s Slot.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-2\" class=\"lazy-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s one of those times and places, and a reimagination of what Robbie Williams is,\u201d he said of a potential performance,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cA lot of people there have an oblique perception of what I am.
