\u201cseems limitless\u201d as he discussed his compatriot\u2019s ability to improve after his Wimbledon victory.<\/p>\n<p>World No 1 Sinner defeated second seed Alexander Zverev 6-7(7), 7-6(2), 6-3, 6-4 in the 2026 Wimbledon final to complete a successful title defence at the grass-court major.<\/p>\n<p>Sinner\u2019s second Wimbledon crown took his Grand Slam title haul to five, with the Italian great having also won the Australian Open twice and the US Open once.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to securing his first major of 2026 at Wimbledon, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/jannik-sinner\">Sinner<\/a> made history by becoming the first player to win the first five ATP Masters 1000 tournaments in a season.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Italian newspaper <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.corriere.it\/sport\/tennis\/26_luglio_13\/sinner-wimbledon-commento-adriano-panatta-82c4b931-f1eb-4305-bab3-ff5d473b8xlk.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Corriere della Serra<\/a>, Panatta \u2014 who won the 1976 French Open \u2014 hailed the development of Sinner\u2019s serve.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJannik\u2019s serve has improved enormously in just a few months. He seems limitless. He is twenty-four \u2014 soon to turn twenty-five \u2014 and approaches his own development with a mindset that does him great credit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do not know how far he will go, but I know that in the coming months, we will see him continue to improve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Panatta also commented on the importance of Sinner\u2019s Wimbledon win following his physical collapse at Roland Garros.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFinally, after what happened in Paris \u2014 that sudden slump against the younger Cerundolo \u2014 and after the extensive medical checks at San Raffaele and the inevitable doubts that followed, this victory allows him to put at least some of that behind him,\u201d said the Italian.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter all, a win at Wimbledon always holds a touch of magic.
