However, a recent message from Sabre Interactive&#8217;s new chief business officer might offer a new hope (sorry).<\/p>\n<p>Steve Allison, who was promoted to the CBO role only three days ago, took to the internet to answer a few questions. One paragraph from Allison was captured and reposted to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/warhammer-40000-space-marine-2\">Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2<\/a> Subreddit. In 2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/star-wars-kotors-troubled-remake-still-coming-suggests-studios-latest-comments\">that&#8217;s all people got<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>If you aren&#8217;t aware what has actually happened to the KOTOR Remake, it&#8217;s a real doozy. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/saber-interactive-joins-development-of-star-wars-kotor-remake\">Embracer Group joined forces with Aspyr back in May 2022<\/a>, but by July <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/star-wars-knights-of-the-old-republic-remake-in-serious-trouble-and-delayed-indefinitely\">was reportedly delayed indefinitely<\/a> due to firings at Aspyr. Embracer would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/embracer-confirms-aaa-project-has-switched-studios-following-report-of-kotor-trouble\">take the KOTOR Remake away from Aspyr and give it to Sabre Interactive in August that year<\/a>, so it&#8217;s safe to say it didn&#8217;t get off to a great start.<\/p>\n<p>After that, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/knights-of-the-old-republic-remake-is-slowly-getting-expunged-from-the-internet\">the game was being mysteriously expunged from the internet<\/a>, a problem Sony blamed on music licensing.
