Season eight is currently airing on Channel 4, with episodes being broadcast every Friday.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Today (Thursday July 16), it\u2019s been confirmed that Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Homme will feature on tomorrow night\u2019s edition (Friday July 17).<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019ll be sharing the sofa with Scissor Sisters singer and actor Jake Shears, his longtime friend and former collaborator. The band had\u00a0debuted the song live last autumn as part of their \u2018Catacombs\u2019 tour.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-2\" class=\"lazy-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>QOTSA are currently opening for\u00a0System Of A Down on their UK and European stadium tour. The two groups played at London\u2019s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday (July 13), ahead of a second show at the venue on Wednesday (July 15).<\/p>\n<p>Earlier on the trek, Homme and co. dusted off some deep cuts from their 2007 album \u2018Era Vulgaris\u2019, including the first airing of \u2018Run, Pig, Run\u2019 since 2008.<\/p>\n<p>The band will open for Foo Fighters on the North American leg of their \u2018Take Cover\u2019 stadium tour\u00a0later this summer.\u00a0QOTSA have announced their first Icelandic show since 2005 for this October, too.<\/p>\n<p>They played a\u00a0stripped-back concert at the historic Parisian Catacombs back in 2024, which was captured for\u00a0an accompanying concert film\u00a0and\u00a0live album.\u00a0<em>NME<\/em>\u00a0gave\u00a0<em>Alive In The Catacombs<\/em>\u00a0a four-star review, hailing it as a \u201cmoving and meditative concert doc\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>In 2024,\u00a0Homme promised to \u201croll his sleeves up\u201d so that the fans wouldn\u2019t have to wait so long for Queens Of The Stone Age\u2019s next record. There was a six-year gap between 2017\u2019s\u00a0\u2018Villains\u2019\u00a0and \u2018In Times New Roman\u2026\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Homme and bandmate Dean Fertita had previously spoken to <em>NME<\/em>\u00a0in late 2023 about the group, their personal battles and plans for the future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we should be making something,\u201d Homme explained at the time. \u201cThe mantra of the last five years was, \u2018It won\u2019t be long now!\u2019 That needs to pertain to making things too. The band had\u00a0debuted the song live last autumn as part of their \u2018Catacombs\u2019 tour.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-2\" class=\"lazy-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>QOTSA are currently opening for\u00a0System Of A Down on their UK and European stadium tour. The two groups played at London\u2019s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday (July 13), ahead of a second show at the venue on Wednesday (July 15).<\/p>\n<p>Earlier on the trek, Homme and co. dusted off some deep cuts from their 2007 album \u2018Era Vulgaris\u2019, including the first airing of \u2018Run, Pig, Run\u2019 since 2008.<\/p>\n<p>The band will open for Foo Fighters on the North American leg of their \u2018Take Cover\u2019 stadium tour\u00a0later this summer.\u00a0QOTSA have announced their first Icelandic show since 2005 for this October, too.<\/p>\n<p>They played a\u00a0stripped-back concert at the historic Parisian Catacombs back in 2024, which was captured for\u00a0an accompanying concert film\u00a0and\u00a0live album.\u00a0<em>NME<\/em>\u00a0gave\u00a0<em>Alive In The Catacombs<\/em>\u00a0a four-star review, hailing it as a \u201cmoving and meditative concert doc\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>In 2024,\u00a0Homme promised to \u201croll his sleeves up\u201d so that the fans wouldn\u2019t have to wait so long for Queens Of The Stone Age\u2019s next record. There was a six-year gap between 2017\u2019s\u00a0\u2018Villains\u2019\u00a0and \u2018In Times New Roman\u2026\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Homme and bandmate Dean Fertita had previously spoken to <em>NME<\/em>\u00a0in late 2023 about the group, their personal battles and plans for the future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we should be making something,\u201d Homme explained at the time. \u201cThe mantra of the last five years was, \u2018It won\u2019t be long now!\u2019 That needs to pertain to making things too.
