Brit firm is planning a new V8 GT inspired by the Interceptor\">all-new Interceptor<\/a>, and we now know that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.topgear.com\/car-news\/first-look\/jensens-new-interceptor-officially-called-jensen-interceptor-gtx\" data-entity-type=\"node\" data-entity-uuid=\"07e1fa9b-9dbe-4549-8634-b65056d27f95\" data-entity-substitution=\"canonical\" title=\"Jensen\u2019s new Interceptor is officially called the Jensen Interceptor GTX\">the GTX<\/a> will arrive first as a track-only supercar. We also know from the new image above that it\u2019ll use plenty of carbon fibre and get a whacking great diffuser.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Interceptor GTX is no static show car,\u201d said boss David Duerden.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"HtmlContent\" class=\"MarkUpWrapper-sc-t20i90-0 hQwWlJ\">\n<p>\u201cIt is a track-focused special, developed as an enhanced prototype build, which will preview upcoming Jensen models. We can\u2019t wait to unveil it to the world, fittingly sixty years after the launch of the original Jensen Interceptor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yep, these will essentially be pre-production cars that\u2019ll be sold as \u201cultra-high-performance, track-only specials\u201d. We\u2019ll then see several different Interceptor variants in the future, including \u201croadgoing models and track-focused cars\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"HtmlContent\" class=\"MarkUpWrapper-sc-t20i90-0 hQwWlJ\">\n<p>All new Interceptors will be designed, engineered and hand-built in the UK, and specs will include an aluminium chassis, aluminium body panels and a supercharged V8 engine.
