The rapidly-growing technology has been divisive, with many claiming it has been trained on art made by humans without their consent, and will be used to replace human creativity.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Asked about it, Lucas said: \u201cArtificial intelligence means it\u2019s much easier for us to make movies. It\u2019s very much like sitting here saying, \u2018Well, I believe the horse and the buggy is really where it\u2019s at. These cars, they break down, they need gas, there\u2019s all kinds of problems with them and pretty soon they\u2019ll be making them into tanks, and then they\u2019ll be killing people. It\u2019s terrible.\u2019 There\u2019s nothing you can do about it. Humans can\u2019t, we\u2019re not that smart. The whole idea is you\u2019re a human being, you\u2019re responsible for what you say and what you do, and if you\u2019re doing something that\u2019s illegal you should be punished for that. Whatever you do, you should be recognised. It\u2019s just like real life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>AI has been a divisive topic in Hollywood, with everyone from <em>Backrooms<\/em> director Kane Parsons to Pope Leo XIV condemning the use of the technology. Martin Scorsese has received criticism for endorsing an AI firm for the purposes of storyboarding, while Jodie Foster claimed the Brad Pitt film <em>F1<\/em> was created by AI in a defence of the technology (<em>F1<\/em> has no confirmed use of AI in its production).<\/p>\n<p>Recently, controversial AI \u201cactress\u201d Tilly Norwood was announced as making its feature
