Rheanna Henney, the founder of emerging sustainability<\/a>-focused brand In House<\/a>, is a one-woman show despite having no formal fashion training. \u201cWe don\u2019t have a designer; it\u2019s all 100% me \u2014 the sketches and everything,\u201d she tells The Zoe Report on a recent call. If the past 10 months of In House are any indication, Henney has a natural eye for design and an equally impressive entrepreneurial instinct.<\/p>\n

Indeed, Henney introduced the New York City-based label in September 2025, debuting with an 11-piece collection \u2014 priced from $385 to $1,100 \u2014 spanning tailored blazers<\/a> and pants, flowy maxi skirts, crisp button-ups, and sheer long-sleeve tops, all rendered in neutral colors. \u201cI think people are always looking for garments they can throw on and feel like the best version of themselves in, and go wherever the day takes them,\u201d Henney says of the line. <\/p>\n

Keeping the assortment small but mighty was intentional. \u201cBecause this is self-funded, we knew we wouldn\u2019t be able to do big runs,\u201d she shares. As such, Henney opted for a made-to-order model (with pieces shipping in four to six weeks), a key pillar of the brand\u2019s sustainability mission. And while patience isn\u2019t always a virtue in fashion, she\u2019s found that customers are willing to wait for what she describes as the \u201cperfect blazer\u201d or a \u201cgreat pant.\u201d That said, Henney fully intends to expand inventory as the business grows \u2014 provided it\u2019s inventory her community will wear. \u201cI don\u2019t want to make things that people don\u2019t want,\u201d she says. <\/p>\n
