The company will soon face a formal complaint from representatives in Mexico, who believe the decision constitutes anti-competitive and anti-consumer behavior.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.levelup.com\/en\/news\/mexican-lawmakers-to-file-antitrust-complaint-against-playstation-and-sony-over-ps-store-following-the-potential-end-of-physical-games\/\">Levelup<\/a>, Federal Representative Ira\u00eds Reyes, and Senator Luis Donaldo Colosio are preparing to file a complaint with Mexico\u2019s National Antitrust Commission, requesting an investigation into the ramifications of Sony&#8217;s decision.<\/p>\n<p>Reyes and Donaldo Colosio are members of Mexico&#8217;s Movimiento Ciudadano political party, but they intend to submit the complaint as private citizens.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If discs disappear, anyone who owns a PlayStation will no longer be able to choose where to buy their games and will be forced to purchase them exclusively through Sony&#8217;s store,\u201d said Ira\u00eds Reyes.
