In case there was any question, Rihanna<\/a> proved last night that she is still very much that girl.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the third and final night of Jay-Z\u2019s<\/a> residency at Yankee Stadium on July 12, the hip-hop legend brought out the Bad Girl herself for a surprise duet of their 2009 hit, \u201cRun This Town.\u201d A longtime signee of Jay-Z\u2019s Roc Nation, the cameo marked Rihanna\u2019s first live performance since she headlined the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show<\/a> in 2023.<\/p>\n

Of course, she couldn\u2019t waste her fabulous Saint Laurent ensemble on just one song, which is why Rih generously treated the crowd (who waited until midnight for the show to start, BTW) to a performance of \u201cB*tch Better Have My Money\u201d as well. She topped off the brief set with a message that the R9<\/em> truthers will undoubtedly have a field day with: \u201cI miss this sh*t, y\u2019all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rihanna wasn\u2019t the only surprise guest of the night \u2014 acts like Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>, Usher<\/a>, Teyana Taylor<\/a>, Clipse, Pharrell<\/a>, Fat Joe, Jeezy, Jadakiss, The-Dream, Jermaine Dupri, and Swizz Beatz all helped close out the weekend, delivering on the show\u2019s Extra Innings title with a 3:00 a.m. end time.
