Madonna and Feid Score FIFA World Cup Release With \u2018Read My\u00a0Lips\u2019\t\t<\/p>\n<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n \n\tListeners voted in a poll published Friday (July 10)\u00a0on\u00a0Billboard<\/em>, choosing the classic rock stars\u2019 just-released set as their favorite new music.<\/p>\n Foreign Tongues<\/em> rose above new releases from artists including YEONJUN, Beyonc\u00e9 and Feid. At the poll\u2019s closing time on Sunday, the new album from The Stones landed 42% of the vote.<\/p>\n Foreign Tongues<\/em> is a landmark 25th studio album delivering 14 fresh tracks recorded by The Rolling Stones \u2014 12 new originals, plus two covers (they take on Amy Winehouse\u2019s \u201cYou Know I\u2019m No Good\u201d and Chuck Berry\u2019s \u201cBeautiful Delilah\u201d).<\/p>\n \n\tThe rock \u2018n\u2019 roll vets recorded the project with Hackney Diamonds<\/em> producer Andrew Watt at Metropolis Studios in West London, which welcomed quite an impressive crowd: Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, The Cure\u2019s Robert Smith and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers all contributed, as well as longtime collaborators Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford and Steve Jordan. Drums played by the late Charlie Watts, recorded during one of his final studio sessions before his 2021 death, are heard on \u201cHit Me in the Head.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tSingles \u201cIn the Stars\u201d and \u201cJealous Lover\u201d preceded the full album\u2019s unveiling.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIt was a very intense few weeks recording\u00a0Foreign\u00a0Tongues<\/em>,\u201d Mick Jagger recounted upon the album\u2019s release. \u201cWe had 14 great tracks and we went as fast as we could. I like the room there as it\u2019s not too big so you can feel the passion from everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tRonnie Wood described the room\u2019s vibe as \u201cso creative,\u201d with the full band \u201con top form throughout the whole process.
